In autumn 2013, the first lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people will be able to move to a senior housing at Gärdet in Stockholm. The residence will get 38 apartments and will be run by the co-operative Rainbow Tenants' Association.

"We are excited to take the lead with this type of housing," says the chairman Christer Fallman to daily Metro.
